Our History
The AAI Agency was established in 1993 with its first office in Chapel Hill, NC. Since then, the Agency has grown to providing over 30,000 clients in the Triangle and Triad with friendly professional services at 13 convenient locations.

AAI is Nationwide Insurance Company's largest independent insurance agency. It has been honored by Nationwide every year for its most prestigious award for quality service and production. Agency founder Mark Vitali, CLU is well renowned in the industry and throughout the country. Insurance carriers often invite Mr. Vitali to speak at meetings, conferences and events, and ask for his participation in their advisory councils. AAI has been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle’s Top Insurance Agencies for each of the past five years.
